HomePod Jailbroken!
That being said, its not clear why. Perhaps we can make Siri sound like BA Baraccus from the A-Team like an early 2000s Tom Tom Sat Nav, or I mean at best connect stuff with bluetooth that doesn’t have AirPlay?

HairForce One says M1 Macs are absolutely capable of running Windows natively, but its up to Microsoft to get it done.

Currently Windows for Arm (which can run x86 apps, just historically not very well) is only licensed for hardware that it comes pre-installed on. He also said that While Crossover which we mentioned last week can run 32 & 64bit windows binaries, its’ not as consistent as they’ve enjoyed before with things like Parallels and VMWare, so there “may still be hills to climb ahead.”

There IS a $799 MacBook Air with Apple M1, it’s just that you’re not allowed it.
Way back at the beginning of this channel, before I realised that switching the lights on sometimes improved camera performance, I made a video about Apple’s potentially 799 starting price for Apple Silicon. Specifically it was the 10th video I ever made, and published on August 2nd. On the 7th of August, for context, I BLASTED past 20 subs, just 5 days later.

So why are we talking about this? Because that M1 powered MacBook Air does actually exist, but you won’t find it on the Apple Store. Its an Educational institution exclusive, and it comes with a tiny 128gb of storage.

But that’s okay. Its not designed for us, and just like Apple’s i3 powered iMac 21.5”, its specifically for schools and colleges buying in bulk, not available to consumers, and its designed to just hold MacOS and the Apps it needs, with school servers holding the user accounts and their files.
