From October 17th iPhone 11 (and presumably 11 Pro) purchases through the Indian Apple Online Store will receive a free pair of AirPods to celebrate the festival of Diwali.
That means while the iPhone 12 models will be shipping without EarPods for the first time, iPhone 11 models in India will actually come with both wired AND wireless earphones, which seems super unfair! 😉
Apple’s Indian online store launched on September 23rd with the full range of Apple Services including specialist shopping assistance, educational pricing and everything else we expect from Apple.
The Kang Files. Probably the most accurate Apple leaker in the world.
So leaks emerged after our show on Friday from “Kang” on the Chinese social network Weibo. With an AppleTrack score of 97.8%, this is probably slightly more accurate than Apple themselves, who notoriously leaked about the fictional AirPower charger a while back.
So, here’s what we’ll almost certainly see at the event tomorrow, Tuesday October 13th.

No Mention of Apple Silicon so it really looks like November event is on, and based on the dates here I think Nov 10th is most likely. Time to remind everyone about Mini & Pro Max pre-orders.

IPhone 12 Mini has a more compact notch, but it’s also deeper into the display as they had to rearrange the components, but faceID across the board will be faster and work at wider angles.
In addition to the optical zoom in iPhone 12 pro, the regular iPhone 12 and mini will get significantly improved digital zoom quality and range computationally.
The ultra wide cameras get a wider aperture which means they’ll be better in low light and night mode, but also ad a macro feature for super close ups.
Pro models will get an extra hour of battery vs the last gen, though the mini may last slightly less long between charges.
4K 240 frames per second & 120fps has showed up in software, 240 may be only available in high efficiency mode.
Also, the hardware is there for portrait video, but it looks like it may not be ready for the launch, but Apple has in the past announced this kind of thing at the event and said “coming January” or the like, so I’m still not discounting it.
