Apple TVs with A12 and A14X variants rumoured as gaming monsters, along with a potential gaming controller too, as Apple is targeting massively growing their Apple Arcade most likely to help drive Apple One signups with some epic demos at the October iPhone event.
It could certainly make playing games like Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile on the TV with a controller way more compelling as a gaming option, but I wouldn’t hold your breath for Fortnite anytime soon.
A14 CRUSHES on Metal Graphics!
The new A14 processor posts a 12571 on Metal graphics score compared to 7308 on the A13 Bionic in iPhone 11 Pro last year, and even beating the iPad Pro’s A12Z on 11665, so it turns out the iPad Air, and by extension the iPhone 12 that we’re still expecting on October 13th will be absolute beasts!
